Ben L. Torrey

Ben Torrey received a BA in Management from Georgia State University and spent four years in the US Naval Reserve. He then began his insurance career.
After a successful career as Senior Vice President of an international insurance company Ben L. Torrey took early retirement in 1989. With a continuing interest of helping people Ben obtained a real estate license and proceeded to work on solving the housing needs of people seeking to move into or out of North Georgia. In order to try more innovative marking tools and be of more help to non-profit organizations including his church Ben became a Broker and opened Torrey Mountain Properties, Inc. The same attention to detail that made him a successful insurance broker is making him a successful real estate Broker.
Ben and his wife are officers of and continue to be active in the New Lebanon Presbyterian Church. |

Don Martin

Don has been a resident of Pickens County since 1994 and lives with his wife, Regina, in Bent Tree. Regina is the Chairperson of the Science Department at Dawson County High School.
Prior to joining Torrey Mountain Properties, Don served 27 years in the Army before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1998. From 1998 until the spring of 2007 Don was a Program Manager for the Anteon Corporation, which is now a part of General Dynamics.
Don is a native of Memphis, TN and has a BA in Communications from the University of Memphis, a BS in Accounting from Georgia State University and a Masters in Technology Management from Mercer University.
Don and Regina attend New Lebanon Presbyterian Church, where both serve as Elders and Don sings in the Choir. Don is a former Southeastern President of the National Defense Transportation Association and a life member of the Reserve Officers Association and the Military Order of World Wars. Currently Don is active with the Tater Patch Players and serves on their Board of Directors. He also serves as an Ambassador for the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce.
